Details:

The suede is made from the underside of cowhide previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is tanned in Brazil, respecting REACH regulations. Special attention is paid to the use of water during the chamois tanning process. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the shoes from light rain. The suede is certified Silver by the Leather Working Group.
